What does a slow lead response cost your team?

Pick your team size and adjust the numbers. The calculator estimates the lead spend, commission, and team time exposed when online leads don't get a fast reply.

Leads and ad spend

How many online leads reach your team each month: portals, ads, and your website.

What you pay for one lead on average. Set to $0 to see commission and time only.

Share of leads that get no real conversation within minutes, or none at all. This is your estimate.

Share of leads that end in a closing. Online leads commonly convert at roughly 1–2%.

Average commission your team earns on one closing, before agent splits.

ISA time

Minutes a person spends per lead: calls, texts, qualification, and CRM updates.

Fully loaded cost of one ISA or admin hour, including pay, benefits, and overhead.

Share of that manual work the system takes over.

Team lead time

Hours a week the team lead or owner spends on lead QA, reminders, and checking exceptions.

What an hour of the team lead's time is worth to the business.

Share of that oversight time the system takes off the team lead.

Total value per month

An illustrative estimate based on the figures you enter, not a promise of results. Actual recovery depends on your lead sources, market, and follow-up process.

How it's calculated

  • Total spent on leads = leads × cost per lead
  • Closings at risk = leads × share unreached × conversion
  • Recovered commission = closings at risk × 50% × commission
  • ISA time = leads × minutes per lead × share handled × cost per hour
  • Team lead time = weekly hours × share removed × value per hour

Why speed matters

A Harvard Business Review study of online leads found that firms responding within an hour were nearly seven times more likely to qualify the lead than firms responding an hour later, and the average response took 42 hours. That study is the basis for the direction of the estimate. The figures above come only from your inputs. Commission is counted as cash, ISA time only where an ISA exists and hours are actually cut, and team lead time as freed capacity.
